WITCH HUNT 6--THE EVIL RETURNS AGAIN
You know, I just love scary movies. Ever since I was a little girl growing up in the backwoods of Ohio, I loved staying up all night and watching all the marathons on weekends. Well, not that I stayed up ALL night--I usually fell asleep during the first movie--but the boys in school thought I was just the coolest girl in class because I told them I liked monster movies, so why muddy up things?
Anyway, when I got the call to appear in Witch Hunt 6, I was so honored to be included in such a masterpiece of horror cinema! There was one little problem, though...the character I played in Witch Hunt 5 (Simone) was decapitated, disemboweled, and burned at the stake at the end of the movie. So the writer had to really figure out a good way to bring me back. He was a smart guy--he wore glasses and everything--so he had a great idea to write me in as Simone's good sister, Sindy, who ends up possessed by Simone's ghost. Isn't that original and brilliant!?!
In the movie, Sindy--while possessed by Simone--decides to go on a revenge hunt against all the people who burned Simone, and of course she has sex with all the men first before killing them (I thought she should be fair and do the same with the women, too, and the director LOVED my idea! That scene where Sindy seduces Lila the lawyer was all me.) I felt that the close-up shots of my breasts in this movie only strengthed the director's message of spirituality, despite what the critics have said.
This movie, as my fans already know, was nominated for the 2001 Golden Wand award for best sex scene in a horror film (we lost to Steffy Von Kronk's directorial debut, "Poontangula"). I did win the Golden Wand for "Most Doable Actress" and I still have it on my bedside table.
I think that this movie is where my "Scream Queenieness" really started to kick in.
